I'm feisty and playful, yet know when to be serious. I'm respected for who I am and what I do in my life. I am not ego driven, and I admit when I don't know something. I'm one who enjoys creating possibilities for myself and my life, and then living into them. This makes life fun, interesting, and exciting, and then I focus on the positive. I think we all need to do more of that and this world would be a happier place.

What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
I want to be with someone who accepts me for all that I am and all that I'm not. Someone who supports me, yet calls me on my bs. And someone who is not intimidated by a woman who can express herself.

It's a waste of time to try to change me, but it sure would be fun to grow together... I would like to hang out with someone fun and who likes to play. Take walks, long talks, watch the sunset, go to dinner and movies or theater. Or miniature golfing, bowling, or a sporting event. I'm open to different or new things. I like down to earth people with a good sense of humor. I like truth tellers with tact. haha.

What sort of relationship would you like at this point in your life.
What I want to feel or sense is comfort and ease. If it doesn't feel like we can hang out and get to know each other with some sense of ahhhhhhhhh, then let's just be friends. Or let's be friends and see what happens... I have learned how important it is to be fully self-expressed; we need to communicate clearly, honestly and with genuine listening. I don't need to be right all the time, but please don't try to prove or make me wrong...all we need to do is dialogue with respect. Then there's always the "agree to disagree" principal. :) We need to be open to each other's needs and feelings... I am passionate AND traditional. Chemistry is important, but so is taking things slow. This is not negotiable. If you are looking for your dessert before your dinner, please move on; however if you are a true gentleman and are looking for dating and doing a dance as opposed to a sprint, then I am your girl.

I love class rock, classical, current tunes, and music with a good dance beat like salsa, etc. I also like music that makes me want to move.

I work with people who are blind/visually impaired. I love what I do and strive for a harmonious work environment. I plan on starting my own business using my skills and knowledge, and the niche is reasonably uncharted territory so I'm very excited about it.

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
Some of my interests include: New Adventures (I learned to surf last summer), Doing Absolutely Nothing, Hiking, Sewing, Horseback Riding, Backgammon, Being Intimate, Spectator of Sports, Movies, Surfing the Web, Music, Theater, Board Games, Traveling, Camping, Dancing, Dining Out, Photography, Swimming, and the all important....etc.

I hate having to figure out if someone is telling me the truth. If you can't be honest with someone there is a breakdown in communication that should be addressed.

Tell about where you grew up or where you are from.
I grew up in Los Angeles, CA. The westside to be more specific. I have always lived in CA. I went to UCI, then SFSU, and lived in the Bay Area for a while. Then I moved to Santa Maria, now famous thanks to Michael Jackson, who in my opinion should at the very least have better judgement! :) Ok, well anyway, I'm back in Southern CA.

Do you have pets? Tell about them.
I have three cats, and I think that's a lot. But when I adopted the 2nd one, her kitten also needed a home, and apparently I'm a sucker. lol. Well I love them all. I love all animals. Oh, and I have 3 bettas. The cats do too. :(

What would you say is your best virtue?
My playfulness and genuineness. Oh was that two? Haha, well I started writing more! ;)

What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
Hmmmmmmmmm, bungee jumping is on my list...over water...Vegas?

I would take my son, well pictures since he's not an ITEM...
I would take my best friend and lover...hopefully I'll find him before I'm on the deserted island. haha

Let's see.........first, the caterer. I'd like to enjoy the party...or have someone in the kitchen with me who'd cook with me...OK, dead or alive...Lucille Ball? Jim Carrey?

How is your physical shape? What do you do to keep in shape?
I have lost 60 pounds in the past 3 years. I want to lose more. I feel better about myself than I have all my adult life. I should exercise more and will be going to the gym starting this week. Do you belong to 24 hour fitness? That would help! :)

I read people's profiles from top to bottom. I read between the lines...

I look for signs of a sense of humor and realness.
