I was raised Catholic - converted to judaism in 1986.

I LOVE Sushi, Asian, Mediterranean, Israeli and French dishes. I am a "wonderful" and "the best cook ever" OR so -they- tell me when I feed them.

Visited Israel in 1987. Have visited most of Canada, like New York city, New Orleans, the Caribbean, Mexico, New Mexico, France - like historical places a lot more than tourist resorts.

Where do you like to go out (on a date, with friends, to meet people)? Name some places.
On a date or with friends; out for a nice meal and/or a drink and hearing a really good Smooth Jazz or Blues band or concert, seeing a movie or live theatre, going to the beach or on a picnic, taking a day trip to an ethnic market or a walking tour of an historical sight.

Musical Preferences: Smooth Jazz, Soul, Blues, Soft-Progressive Rock (pre 1980), some Classical and some Celtic. My Favorite song: Roberta Flack's version of "Let it be me"- melts my underwear... My favorite instrumental: A Whiter Shade of Pale: King Curtis (sax) ----- Favorite Movies: Love Actually, Babette's Feast, Manon Des Sources, Matrix. ----- What I watch on TV: Fox News instead of CNN. Heroes. 4400, History and Science Documentaries, TLC, Sci-Fi Channel, Home Decorating and Cooking shows.

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
Internet Technologist "Web Mistress of The Night" ---- I like what I do a lot -- my semi-retirement job: it's creative, you get to make works of art called Webpages. Before that I worked in statistics.

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
I like cooking; I am an international gourmet cook. I like listening to nice relaxing music, curling up in a comfy chair and reading a good book. I like books on History, Politics, Science, Quantum Physics, Psychology, Philosophy, some Science Fiction and Spy Novels. I often read at night, instead of watching TV.

Greatest Achievements: My outstanding collection of decades worth of pilfered office supplies and my 5' in diameter string ball.

What do you hate doing?
I grew up in a large family, and went to private school so I dislike waiting in line...

Tell about where you grew up or where you are from.
I grew up near Edmundston New Brunswick (across the river from Madawaska Maine) and inherited a great sense of humor from my Acadien father. My family had one of the first department stores in the area and since we were merchants, I grew up with a strong sense of responsability, to my family, and community. It was wonderful growing up there, very outdoorsy and my brothers and and I used to spend summers fishing and hiking.

No pets - not because I don't like them - because I don't need them...

What would you say is your best virtue?
My stongest quality is my undaunting sense of humor and hope, that when the chips are down - the buffalo is empty...

Outdoor Adventures: I like to exercise a few time a week by Powerwalking to music and running away from dogs who are chasing me as I am Powerwalking to music.

Dreams & Goals: To be able to retire early and spend my time making flawless lighter than air soufle's, reading the books I have always wanted to read and accidentally discovering that catnip is the true herb of immortality. Living in a quiet cabin (with a fireplace) in the woods-- where I would sit rocking myself - on the front porch with my rifle on my lap ... and yelling -- "Get off my land...!!! " ---Seriously --- Maybe owning a winter home in a warmer climate.
