I am a social worker, and I am very passionate about helping to correct the injustices that go on in our world, especially in the US. I love my work to help with children and families. I am a huge liberal, and will only date people who feel the same - I am an idealist, what can I say. I love animals, I'm interested in buddhist thought, and I am VERY sensitive, compassionate and caring towards others, especially people I am close with. I love getting to know new people. My family and friends are the most important things to me in the world. I am really open-minded and an open person as well. I love to travel and experience different cultures. I studied abroad in Chile my last semester of college. Being able to speak Spanish is something I'm really proud of. I've been to several foreign countries and hope to go to many more! Which is your favorite Jewish holiday? How do you like to observe / celebrate?
I love passover because it's really the only holiday my family celebrates. We are not very religious but my dad gets really into it and it turns into a nice seder and actually a nice week altogether.

I like that is has always been present as part of my heritage and something I can be proud of.

anything ethnic! Thai, indian, chinese, middle eastern, etc.

Have you ever visited Israel? Describe your travels / experience there.
Yes, I did birthright - most amazing experience ever. I had no idea what to expect. I would go so far as to say life changing. To be surrounded by almost 100% Jewish people was a good feeling - something I haven't experienced but would like to again.

Name some of your all-time favorite music / movies / TV / books.
I am into indie rock music but I find myself listening to top forty in the car. I love it all. I like a lot of indie flicks as well but I am pretty open. Grey's Anatomy is one of my favorite shows. I also have some MTV guilty pleasures but I don't have cable anymore which is probably a good thing!

I am extremely empathetic, caring, and compassionate -and very affectionate.

I work out a few times a week and try to get outside when I can.
