Tell about yourself - your personality, lifestyle, etc.
Enjoying and experiencing life has become my mantra. I enjoy hiking at Griffith Park, monthly trips to Disneyland (annual pass holder), and playing Wii. Last year I completed a marathon, jumped out of a plane, and went skiing for the first time. Life’s too short to be stagnant. Game shows are my TV favorites. I enjoy going to temple most Friday nights, and I have a passion about being honest. Speaking of which, if you are looking for someone who cooks and cleans and is quiet, polite, and sweet, you're not looking for me. I’m not a raging maniac, and I can and do behave appropriately for various situations. But a traditional, soft spoken person I am not. If you are looking for someone who is caring, hard working, and has integrity then by all means check me out.


What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
Someone with a lust for life and a hankerin' for me. I'm also looking for someone much like my father, a man of honor. someone who doesn't need a reason to do the right thing except for the sake of doing the right thing. I love Purim. Last year I was Daisy Duck, and the year before that I was an orthodox rabbi. Good fun!

How important a role did Judaism play in your life growing up? And now?
I actually grew up Mormon. I converted to Judaism four years ago. Since then I have found a home at my synagogue and have taught Hebrew school and served on the temple board and the Sisterhood board.

Have you ever visited Israel? Describe your travels / experience there.
I've only visited Israel once; unfortunately, it was for a funeral so I didn't get to explore much. I would love the opportunity to go again under different circumstances.

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
I love my job. I'm currently an Instructional Leader of Mathematics (AKA math coach) at an elementary school. Even though I love my job, I'm really looking forward to summer!

What do you hate doing?
Eating raisins and writing papers for my master's program.

I personally do not have pets. My roommates have 2 cats, and they're OK. I really am a dog person and can't wait to have one of my own again.

What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
Jumped out of a plane. It was fantastic and I'd love to do it again. Anyone care to join me?
