I am fun loving bookseller who loves life. I am single with no kids who enjoys to go out and have fun or stay at home and have fun. I can be shy at first meeting but once I know you it can chat up a storm. Though I can be a romantic, flowers and jewelry don't do it for me. I would rather something more creative. For a vegetarian, I am a picky vegetable eater but I can find something to eat at any resturant. I am a creative soul who loves the arts though artistic ability isn't one you'd be likely to see in a gallery (only in the paint pottery studio I go to every Thurs. night)

What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
someone creative who likes to have fun with whatever they are doing. Someone who wants to be with me, but also wants to have a life outside of me. Someone who loves music, movies, theater and sports. Someone into his family would be nice because I am very close to mine. Just an all around good guy.

What sort of relationship would you like at this point in your life.
Since I haven't had anything really serious yet, I would like casual dating to start with and then we will take it from there.

Which is your favorite Jewish holiday? How do you like to observe / celebrate?
I don't have a favorite. My least favorite is Yom Kippur only because of the fasting. I love to eat and fasting all day is hard, though at the end I feel good that I went all day with no food or drink.

How important a role did Judaism play in your life growing up? And now?
I grew up in a conservative household, but I am now reconstructionist. I go to services whenever the shabbot mood strikes me and on all major holiday's.

What are your favorite things to eat (or what do you like to cook)?
Pizza, Pasta, Chinese Food, Mexican Food, Chocolate.

Have you ever visited Israel? Describe your travels / experience there.
No I haven't been there yet. I have been to the Carribbean, Hawaii, Canada and all through out the USA

To pubs, bowling, cultural events, parties etc.

Name some of your all-time favorite music / movies / TV / books.
I am a huge James Taylor fan, as others from the 60's and 70's. I also love country and newer rock and roll like Train, Beth Hart etc. I love all kinds of music. As for movies, I go for comedies, musicals, drama, horror. I am not a fan of Sci-Fi or Westerns. My TV viewing runs the gamit from As The World Turns(soap opera) to HGTV ,game shows, and sports. Not a fan of news or news type programs or science and nature shows.Some of my fav. movies are Three On A Couch, Throughly Modern Millie, Bugsy Malone, Rent, Moulin Rouge, Anything with John Candy. I work in a bookstore and read a wide variety of books ranging from fiction to non fiction.

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
I work in a bookstore and I love it. After doing the corporate thing for years, it is a nice relaxing job to have.

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
Going to Concerts, Movies, Sporting Events, Plays, Museums, Art Galleries, hanging out with friends, playing board/card games, ceramics, reading, watching TV, traveling, etc.

What do you hate doing?
Cleaning animal poop, waking up in the middle of a great dream.

I grew up in Queens, NY and enjoyed being within reach of one of the greatest cities ever.

I have a hampster name Herbie whom I love.

I am a good friend who would do anything for anybody even if I didn't know them very well.

I could stand to lose a few lbs, but overall I am in OK shape. I like to work out when I can and want to try yoga.
