I am petite & slender, a dancer in young life; still dancing for myself. I'm a dog lover and don't generally do “cute” but when it comes to my English Setter (and any other dog), I'm a pushover. You will find me goofy (particularly around dogs) but grounded and unpretentious, affectionate and nurturing. I value my friendships as integral to a happy life and I don't forsake my women friends when I'm involved with a man. I watch mostly non-commercial TV and radio. I'm interested in politics and news, land use and urban issues and the political history of the U.S., interior design and sewing my own clothes. I think it's important to appreciate the every-day-ness of life. I spend many hours nesting. I'm handy with a wrench or a drill, landscaping my yard or building planters. I love making dinner at home for friends, trying different red wines and amber ales, or eating ethnic food in a neighborhood restaurant.
