I love to hang out, relax and chill. I like to cook and talk and watch movies and discuss things. I go to school and I work full time. I'm very devoted but also i can potentially hold a grudge. I'm independent, i love puppies, not so much babies.

Just anyone with a great sense of humor and a willingness to have fun. Friendship is important to me . I need to be able to talk with a person and truly connect on a personal level.

I'd like to get to know someone special who could become important in my life.

Which is your favorite Jewish holiday? How do you like to observe / celebrate?
Even though i dont love passover, i love Seder because when my grandmother was alive i would stay with her for a week and help prepare the Seder and get the house ready. Its probably my strongest emotional holiday because of the ties to my grandmother.

How important a role did Judaism play in your life growing up? And now?
Judaism was very important to us. Not as much ritually as culturally. Though we didn't go to as many shabbos services as we should have, we identified very strongly as a family as JEWS. That's where I'm at now. I consider myself strongly Jewish and strongly spiritual if not strongly religious.

What are your favorite things to eat (or what do you like to cook)?
I like to eat what I like to cook. Pasta, chicken, chicken soup, italian stuff. Oh, and i love Indian and Chinese foods.

Have you ever visited Israel? Describe your travels / experience there.
I haven't gotten that opportunity yet. I was going to go with Birthright Israel, but the timing wasn't right, politically. I very much hope some day to go.

Where do you like to go out (on a date, with friends, to meet people)? Name some places.
Places that are pretty mellow and comfortable. Maybe there's live music, maybe there's not. For anyone familiar with Dayton; Pacchia, The Wine Gallery, Books and Company.

Name some of your all-time favorite music / movies / TV / books.
music: DAVE MATTHEWS BAND!! Bare Naked Ladies, Billy Joel. Lots of other things. Movies: The Philadelphia Story;All About Eve;Love, Actually;Twister;Empire Records;Brokeback Mountain. Those are just a few. TV: The West Wing;Lost;ER (the early years) Cooking shows. Books: The Harry Potter Series, anything by Carl Hiassan or Randy Wayne White. Florida-based novels.

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
I work as a relay operator for the deaf and speech impaired and yeah, actually i like it a lot. There's some craziness to it, but on the whole it's fun.

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
I love to do theatre. Community, professional, academic. whatever i can get my hands on. Other than that i enjoy talking, aimlessly driving, sitting on benches next to various bodies of water. Also, watching tv and movies.

What do you hate doing?
Hate? Ummm...ok, i kind of hate aimless walking. I'm not opposed to walking TO something, or hiking, because that's fun. But just "hey, you wanna get together and...walk?" Mmmmmmeh, no. not so much.

Tell about where you grew up or where you are from.
I grew up on the west cost of Florida near Clearwater and lived there until I was 17. I miss it a lot some times, but living in Ohio, Dayton specifically, has been amazing these last 9 years. I have no regrets except that i'm not near the ocean here. That might be my biggest complaint about Ohio.

Do you have pets? Tell about them.
i love love love dogs and hope someday to have a Pug, but right now im in an apartment so i have a grey and white rat named Lauren. She's sweet but largely useless, because she doesnt really grasp the concept of "toys"

What would you say is your best virtue?
My best virtue is probably also my biggest drawback, im stupidly, fiercely loyal. Even in the face of overwhelming evidence against someone, I'll have their back. I also like to listen and I'm told i'm wicked funny. Thats for you to decide though.

What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
Streaking through the mall parking lot? Skinny dipping? Hood surfing? I guess those are up there.

What terrifies you?
Bugs. Alternate dimensions that you get stuck in and can't get out of.

If you were on a deserted island, and you could choose 3 items to take, what would they be?
a good book (probably a Harry Potter, one of the later ones, because i seem to be able to keep reading those over and over) a lighter and a knife.

I'm shaped like an off-season line backer. And to keep in that shape I...stay off-season? I dont know.
